Exploring Mystery Island in MQ Art Club
Fun group sessions that build confidence and resilience in creativity and teamwork. This term we are going to uncover the secrets of Mystery Island using drawing, collaborative story telling, and paper puppets.
- Sessions run at St Marys Junior site on Thursdays 3:30 to 5pm. Participation is limited (currently a mix of Y4 and Y5) but if the Thursday session is full and there is enough interest I might look to add another day or a Saturday session (email hello@monkquixote.com in that case).
- Each week we will draw or develop characters, go on adventures, and make and draw things that help us win badges and get us closer to the heart of the story...
"A lake has appeared in Marble Hill Park – and in the lake we have an island. Your characters have been selected to lead an intrepid expedition on behalf of St Mary’s Special Operations Crew of Kids – SOCK to investigate the island and report back.
The island is covered in fog, but one of our brave SOCKS spots something that looks like a safe place to land – shall we go and investigate?"
