Hakochitsu (or Japanese wraparound ) box with lift out display shelf. Traditionally used to house important books or papers, this makes an elegant storage box for objects A5 or smaller. Note that these are made to order and will take 1-2 weeks from placing the order for production. On order I will email to confirm specifics regarding colours and paper options.
Examples shown are a little larger than A5, with an optional shelf. These versions are covered in a linen-effect book cloth and feature Japanese washi papers in the lining and details. Ribbons, clasps, clasp ties and the cover material can all vary depending on what I have in stock (or you ask for).
